The last temporary occupation, before we set up permanent camp in February, will take place on Saturday 21st January.

The meeting point is the concourse in Southend Victoria train station, gathering from 1.30pm onwards. At 1.55pm we’ll be making the short journey to the nearby occupy location.

As well as the pop-up tents, Occupy Southend will be deploying a ‘video booth’ where people can express their concerns about the current system we live under, and suggest ideas for change. To reflect this, a youtube channel has been setup to showcase the valuable input of the 99%.

Saturday morning will see the Occupy Southend banner appearing at key locations around the town. So if you’d like to join us ‘on tour’ Saturday morning, please call or email via this website - you’ll be warmly welcomed! And If you have any proposals for action in the future please contact us.
